This entry covers August 22 to September 15, 2016 from Hillsboro to Hillsboro .
Spent a wonderful four weeks with my son and his GF at their townhouse. Got to meet her family and watched him play several softball games. Their team finished in first place and made the playoffs. Also made a few music events where her Dad played harmonica with the band. Attended my first soccer game and the food was provided by her company. Got to watch many Giants games on their huge TV. To round out this season, I hiked a few days with a friend completing the PCT. Being off trail for 5 weeks didn’t help. And did more trail angeling between Portland and Cascade Locks.
